So...Saving Satyavan is out!

This is my first post on the website, so I'm not really sure what I'm doing, but I'm proud to announce that my debut has already hit the market and is waiting for a home on your shelf!

But what is SAVING SATYAVAN about?

➡Saving Satyavan is a journey of courage, self-discovery, love and identity. The original story featured a strong female protagonist, but Savitri's character wasn't entirely developed. Who was she as an individual? We knew her duty as a wife was part of her identity, but marriage and children shouldn't erase one's character.

I decided to delve into the idea of 'what ifs'. What if Savitri hadn't rescued Satyavan? What if she had to journey to Naraka? What if she realized that love wasn't planned?

I'll go into more detail in another article, but in short, Saving Satyavan isn't really about, well, saving Satyavan. Rather, it's Savitri's journey to self-discovery, because Satyavan's death represents the death of her curated world.

Next time, I'll delve into the original story and break down the legend that made me fall in love with Savitri!
